Don’t let any woman ensnare you by exploiting her sexuality or any of the attractions that lure infatuated men into submission. God help the love-sick fool who marries a dominating woman! Passion never lasts. And a cold bedroom breeds cold hearts, anger, and bitterness. But there’s no hatred so violent as the hatred of two people who were once…in love.

Some guys who are reading this are saying, “That’s not me! I think it’s gonna last ‘cause I love her. The way I feel is amazing. She is the one.” Okay, I’ll give you that one. You do feel like it will last forever, so let’s talk about that feeling. You can’t eat, you can’t sleep, you get butterflies in her presence, your palms sweat. You feel like a total dork and it feels great. Newsflash for you: This isn’t love. It’s somebody else besides your mother thinking you are cool. And it’s an amazing feeling. Don’t get me wrong. I did it just as much as you do. But don’t confuse the feeling with love. Love doesn’t feel all mushy. Love isn’t sweaty palms and sleepless nights. Love is a decision you make to care for someone no matter how you feel. If they are disfigured in an accident or throwing up for hours on end, you will still love them.

Because it shows our humanity. Our difference from machines. It shows that we are constantly growing and changing. A paradox in itself cannot exist within a machine, but it can within a human. We can’t exist without contradictions.
